Radiate Media is currently searching for a Part-time, Traffic Editor to join our National Traffic Operations team. This position will be based out of our operations office in Malvern, PA.
The Traffic Editor is responsible for:
- Communicating and servicing Radiate Media's traffic clients and vendors including on-air talent
- Proactively gathering, editing and producing traffic incident updates which will be used by broadcast affiliates or posted to partner websites
- Monitoring police, fire and emergency services
- Making telephone calls to public authorities regarding traffic and news incidents
- Accountable for interfacing with Radiate Media software applications
- Other related duties as required
Qualifications: Successful candidates for the position of Traffic Editor will thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, have computer literacy, be capable of handling multiple tasks under occasionally severe time constraints and be deadline driven.
Preferably, candidates will have had prior experience with a traffic information provider or media broadcast affiliate and may have done traffic or news producing, gathering or reporting as part of that experience. Strong internet search and mapping reading skills are helpful.
Location and hours are not ideal for mass transit riders. You must have reliable transportation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
