Customer Service Representative

The objective of this position is to uphold and improve the company's exceptional reputation by ensuring the highest level of customer service to new and existing customers across various verticals and product lines, from the point of lead generation through to order fulfillment.
In addition to answering customer inquiries, this position will also process customer orders and communicate order status in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities Include:
Receive and respond to incoming e-mail and telephone inquiries Monitor and resolve customer problems quickly and favorably Enter, review, and acknowledge purchase orders and contracts Generate internal sales orders and amendments Promote and cross reference company products and services Act as a primary contact and advocate for all customers Communicate customer problems to appropriate department heads Keep accurate records of customer correspondence Interact with operations and technical personnel to expedite customer orders, status updates, and customer requests as necessary Assist the internal sales team with quotations, proposals, manuals, and other supporting documentation as needed Maintain and update company databases with correct customer and order information Set and manage customer expectations Follow departmental processes and procedures Essential Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong time management skills and a meticulous sense of timeliness Ability to demonstrate good judgement/ problem solving skills when making decisions Possess a customer savvy, energetic, and positive personality Highly organized to multitask and juggle multiple customers and open orders Strong appreciation for teamwork and collaboration Ability to determine and set priorities, ensuring task completion Required
Experience:
High School degree required 2-3 years' experience in customer service and/or sales position for a manufacturing company Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Proficiency with MRP/ERP software systems is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
