Duties: Technical lead and subject matter expert for the development of web-based, client server, real time transaction processing software applications for the retail banking domain. Conduct analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Develop customer information system, deposit and loan accounts processing functions, single Euro payments area, general ledger system, and transaction and batch processing functions running on UNIX, VMS/VAX and Windows. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product design specifications. Oversee development and optimization of program code using Mumps and Java programming languages. Study enhancements, and make recommendations to improve processes and systems. Deploy solutions in Unit Test environment and perform Unit Testing. Oversee debugging, implementation and version management using Atlassian SVN and Star Team. Application development with Mumps and Oracle databases, and GT.M and Eclipse tools. Mentor and train junior technical staff, and lead team meetings.
Requires Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS) or Engineering or related field, plus 2 years of experience in job offered; or, in the alternative, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS) or Engineering or related field plus 5 years progressive experience in the job offered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
