The Sr. Software Engineer will spend his/her time engaging in the maintenance and development of McKesson HVS real-time pharmacy software and its related programs. He/she must gain a knowledge and understanding of all parts of the software design, workflow, functionality, and code. Works under minimal supervision while managing workload effectively, analyzing, developing, modifying programs and documenting. Must be able to develop quality software while following the Coding Standards used by the Software Development Team. Good communication skills are required.
The primary responsibilities for the Sr. Software Engineer role encompass all aspects of real-time software development, new enhancements and maintaining an existing product.
o Develop, maintain and enhance quality software.
o Provide technical support for the application, helping diagnose & correct software malfunctions.
o Use McKesson Coding Standards including good code documentation and naming conventions
o Provide functionality specifications on software developed to be given to technical writers.
o Provide on call support at least three to four weeks in a year.
o Provide training/supervision of entry- and intermediate-level engineers.
o Takes initiative for self-development.
o Interacts effectively with both customers and colleagues.
o 5% travel to remote sites for training or installation of McKesson HVS products.
o Maintain fiscal responsibility for business related expenses associated with company-issued credit cardEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
