Job Description:
Our client is looking for an exceptionally ambitious, innovative individual with a proven track record to support the technical transformation of their Banner ERP system. As a Senior Technical Director, you will lead an organization of over 60 individuals, domestically and globally, whose core responsibility will be to advance our products to modern java frameworks, contemporary mobile first user interfaces, hub supported integrations and cloud readiness. Work completed and directed by the team will provide standards for and govern application development for more than 20 application teams.
Aside from that, the candidate will work directly with the Applied Architects defining and creating the roadmap for the product's future. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual and a dynamic leader, who would like to join the growing team of managers, developers, testers and product owners supporting the transformation of the world's leading higher education ERP, Banner, serving almost 1,400 institutions in 40 countries.
The position will be based in the Malvern Office, and report to the VP, Software Development.
Job Responsibilities:
o Drive technical decisions and implementation to advance the product vision and support roadmap commitments
o Provide technical direction, technical solutions and avenues for adoption of innovative solutions for ERP transformation
o Provide technical leadership that fosters growth and excitement for application development teams
o Oversee the product development for Banner Data Defense, Banner Communication Management, Banner Workflow, Banner General and the Banner Platform
o Direct a team of development managers and product owners delivering on product roadmaps
o Manage a development organization of 60 resources, conducting work performance reviews and adhering to company policy
o Coordinate with Applied Architects to manage future technical goals with current customer needs
o Work collaboratively with the Banner Leadership Team to deliver high quality applications which fulfill the transformation objectives
o Work collaboratively with the Banner Leadership Team to further quality standards and initiatives
o Work collaboratively with the Banner Leadership Team to establish standards and governance over technology choices and implementation

Job Requirements:
o A minimum of 8 years successful experience as a leader
o Proven ability to develop strong working relationships in a matrix, global environment and establish a high level of credibility across functional lines of business and organizational levels
o Management skills including high-profile communications, strategic planning, budgeting and creative solutions
o Demonstration of excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, communicating effectively with executives, leaders, program/initiative owners, stakeholders, and other audiences
o Highly organized, self-directed business style, with strong ability to prioritize
o Problem solving and root cause identification skills
o Ability to be strategic, thoughtful, results oriented

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
