Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Upper Main Line YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, creative and caring Assistant Group Supervisors to join our Early Learning Center. Under the direction of the Associate Childcare Director, these individuals will provide quality childcare while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Duties to include diapering (in accordance with YMCA and DPW policies), cleaning and dressing children for outside walks, and general childcare.
Must have the ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, the Human Services field or a related field with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, or a High School Degree plus 2 years of experience with children. Previous experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
