Splunk System Development Engineer
Ring is looking for a Splunk Engineer with DevOps Engineering experience to help build enterprise solutions and tooling for our data and analytics infrastructure.
This individual will join a team of engineers to help solve complex architectural challenges.
You'll constantly reevaluate our Splunk deployments to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability.
Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and deploy large scale systems and services on AWS.
Monitor communications channels, monitoring tools, and related systems to ensure awareness of system stability, health, and performance.
Identify and implement automation for repetitive tasks and requests.
Perform outreach and provide support for internal teams and business units.
Work with global teams of engineers.
Drive initiatives for upgrading and scaling systems to enhance capacity, feature set, availability, reliability, and performance.
Recommend alternative design and platform decisions.
Perform cost reviews of existing resources and assess opportunities for reducing costs or infrastructure footprint.
Collaborate with other technical leads to integrate a design that's well documented.
